The "Three Guarantees for household vehicles" clearly stipulates the "warranty repair period" and "Three Guarantees validity period" of household automotive products. The warranty repair period of household automotive products shall not be less than 3 years or 60000 kilometers, whichever comes first; The validity period of three guarantees for household automotive products shall not be less than 2 years or 50000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The warranty period and three guarantee period of household automotive products shall be calculated from the date when the Seller issues the purchase invoice. During the warranty period of household automotive products, if the household automotive products have product quality problems, the consumer shall be repaired free of charge by the repairer with the three guarantee certificate (including man hour fee and material fee); Within the validity period of three guarantees for household automotive products, if the conditions for replacement and return are met, the consumer shall be replaced and returned by the seller on the strength of Three Guarantees certificate and car purchase invoice.
For the most concerned return and exchange conditions, AQSIQ listed four specific situations in the new regulations: first, if the steering system fails, the braking system fails, the body cracks and fuel leakage occur within 60 days after the Seller issues the purchase invoice or within 3000 kilometers of driving distance, you can choose to exchange or return the goods; Second, for serious safety performance faults that have been repaired twice in total and still have not been eliminated, or new serious safety performance faults occur, you can choose to return or exchange goods; Third, if the engine transmission is replaced twice in total, or their same main parts are replaced twice in total and still can not be used normally, you can choose to return or replace them; Fourth, the same main parts of the steering system, braking system, suspension system, front and rear strips and body have been replaced twice and still can not be used normally. Consumers can also choose to exchange or return goods. In addition, the new regulations also provide for the exchange of goods due to the repair time limit and the return of goods due to the failure of exchange.
